Welcome to Suksitupa! Beloved vacation home of the Wallace Breuner clan since 1950, Suksitupa (Finnish for 'ski house') is the perfect place for a week-long vacation or quick weekend getaway. Located on Tahoe's west shore, the cabin features stunning lake views from almost every room, a large porch, sunny lawn, extensive beach, a bouy, and a dock to either tie up to or jump off of. Designed for a crowd, the cabin sleeps 12 and is both cozy and commodious with plenty of knotty-pine, hand-painted charm throughout.
Suksitupa is the treasured destination of generations who enjoyed all that Tahoe has to offer then grew up to see their own kids (and grandkids—yikes) fall in love with it all over again. Available to rent by the week or weekend, it's the perfect spot for your family to start your own treasured memories. Take your coffee out on the dock and enjoy the sunrise and dazzling blue water. Watch the kids play, or when the snow falls, build forts and snowmen. Have fun with bikes and boats, skis and snowboards. Enjoy eating on the front porch, and come evening, curl up next to a crackling fire or wander back outside to remember just how many stars there actually are. |
